Winter Effect

Camouflaged with layers of snow,

Her body lay stiff and cold. Caught in a blizzard, her heartbeat fainter grow.

Numbness took over her senses bold.

No more blood to brain could flow






She muttered softly with dim glow

But couldn’t move her toe

His tone ever deep and mellow

As if he knew her heart’s woe

Scooped her body from below

His palms digging like a hoe

Revive her heart beating low

His lips ravishing her pale hue
