A deadly scorpion thriving in desert,
Under canopy of beautiful blue before trouble insert.
In a shady place lay conspiring coconut crab,
Harboring evil plan and conniving a stab,
Strolling sideways suddenly pinched Astraea’s hand,
A maiden who nurtured him lovingly on that land.
The elder water bearer,
Always considered a trouble maker.
When spied Astraea’ s pain,
Informed others of her strain.
Other water bearer supported his act of pinching,
Playing a double role stood convincing.
In support of his aggression,
Of pInching and exploiting her emotion.
O these pricking crabs in shed,
Biting the very hand that bred.
Water bearer elder tried to diffuse situation,
But they had no thought or anticipation.
Crossing sea of trouble,
Scorpion to break bubble.
False identity to snatch,
So harder her wound they scratch.
Water bearer and that lowly crab,
Conniving further, her asset they grab.
Twisted tongues in a witty garb.
So scorpion rescued her from that isle,
Where contemptuous crab conspire.
But didn’t step out from his shed,
Before scorpion he dared not to tread.
His guilt of pricking act,
Was it not a disrespect ?
Half a year lapsed
With Astaea fully recovered.
Revisits disgraceful shores,
Crab with a mesh her lures.
While scorpion he threats,
Blackmailing without regrets,
Truest of its kind,
With sincerest mind.
Lay close to Astraea’s side.
Never again exposed to rough tide.
