Silence and Solitude

Updated: May 12, 2021

Silence and solitude I adore thee more,

Nature ever in its attire serene ,

Birds singing hymns of power Supreme.

A scene as beautiful as a dream.

Those fresh morning sunbeams piercing through a cloud,

Rising above, every moment making its presence proud.

While zephyr silently sweeps through, with a soft shake

To leaves on branches high without a disrupt or brake

Of calm But Ah a recollection of a youthful day.

With book in hands, a contemplation gay.
