She slipped out her usual way,
From new crib drifted far away.
Every time before she would return,
But her path as yet to learn.
And did not comeback next few days.
Unfamiliar with these pathways.
How unhappy she must have been,
She sensed our move and hopped in equally keen.
To discover new territory,
Explore without any boundary.
She has my spirit within her,
A little too wild no one can tame her.
Something bad might have happened,
She loved me she would never have abandoned.
Too fast for an accident,
She would jump two floors sniffing some scent
That was her love for me.
Her passionate heart wouldn’t foresee,
Repercussions of such acts of bravery,
Later taking days for a complete recovery.
Her presence seemed to threaten,
Many a times she returned badly beaten.
While fighting with her opponent,
She lived for the pride of that moment
She wouldn’t hesitate,
Her mind like me very obstinate.
Never compromising on principle,
Like a true disciple.
With a heavy heart searching her around my abode,
What mighty steps she strode.
