Stranded in storm, shipwrecked.
My profile disheveled.
Yet it is not the first time I am abandoned,
On distant shores forcefully
marooned.
Let me accept these water waves,
Once so friendly now wrathfully raves.
My inquisitions couldn’t keep me safe on shore.
A splinter from wreck, under chest i bore.
Casting a final glance on isle.
In pursuit of my stolen smile.
I accept all challenges
Sun, sea and savages.
Surging sea waves toss me astray,
The more I row further drift away.
My conquest of truth keeps me awake,
To protect my pride, I put all at stake.
