My dear brother Naveed,
It is a blessing indeed.
To have a cousin like you,
Let me honor with praises due.
Though my interaction be little,
Vague childhood memories brittle.
Of one with candies and sweet,
Lil me most happy to meet.
Though we all are now continents apart,
Yet you maintain contact with each heart.
Just as tassels used for curtains are clasped together,
In a belt or hook midway they gather.
Or a bunch of flowers tied with ribbons knot,
Has thus name of a bouquet got.
So you have kept us under a flag, And tucked firmly in a bag.
A small act of kindness to extend,
On your special day I do intend.
