Thou hast taken a respite from worldly domain,
Oh! how dark appear nights without thee in sight.
Why hast thou denied thy view tonight?
Bathing under shower of thy radiance to refrain,
Thus have thee left thy devotee in enormous pain.
Closing heavy lids on pillow in plight,
What war was waged that thou hast lost in fight?
How heavy was mist thou couldn’t supremacy maintain?
This darkest hour might end at daybreak ,
And horrid night pierced by sun streak,
Yet I miss thy glancing through window,
As though keeping an eye on path I follow .
So like an anxious spirit am I tossing,
Till I see thee through my window glancing.
