I am not going to beg thee,
As clearly thou canst see.
For thy lack of trust in me,
Rather would want me to be
Down on my knees,
And say please.
Pushed to a dark hole,
Tied to a pole.
My spirits still didn’t leave me,
Even after you abandoned me.
That stormy night,
You left me in plight.
My soul never saw light of day,
Buried in dismay.
Struggling to find my way out,
No one could hear me shout.
Scratching wounds over and over again,
My robe bore such a blood stain.
Reflection of misery and pain.
Yet thou wouldn’t refrain,
Pinching me where it would hurt most.
And then raise your glass for a toast.
Such a fate,
Melancholy my mate .
