Fantasy dwindling down to reality

A rare dream,
rarely am I to dream.
Perception of thine image,
For once not in rage
As climbing a flight of stair,
Dreading treatment unfair.
But met surprisingly with a smile
That made my heart reconcile
For all those times you roared
My feelings ignored
Introduced to thy best side,
To which I love to confide.
And then in a split second it all vanished,
Like a tower of fantasies demolished.
Left aching,
Kept tracing.
Those instances,
Lingering upon my senses.
As I plan my travel,
What surprise may unravel?
Lost spirits to rise,
Left to improvise
But hear me out once
Before my actions you denounce
I seem to have lost all validity
As I set foot on your territory
Give me an opportunity
Regain tranquility
For ever restless my soul
Swinging like a pendulum between fair and foul
