Sun just lost its haughty glare
It was that hour of later day
When one can boldly stare
Without a compulsion to turn away
I set out for a ramble
To ease my troubled thought
Not knowing my path did I scramble
As if to surroundings recently brought
In circles searched around that block
All ways were marked : pool and park
Just as you fumble searching among bunch of keys to unlock
So to different path after every few steps embark
As darker grew did it dawn upon me,
Without any sense of direction stood still.
There was no point in wasting time,
So the first passer by did I inform of my ill.
Gripping firmly his dog did he point,
Which shortest path would lead me home.
And newly revived energy in every joint,
So scampered I on path least troublesome.
He questioned if I am new in neighborhood?
Though a dweller and a few years passed,
Yet am lost as I have never understood
Those winding ways that I have crossed.
But learning to figure out my path.
I set forth to cross seas and explore.
Determined thus to face aftermath
Of situation that lies in my store.

stay safe and happy ma'am. If it makes you feel any better, i sometimes do ramble too.
