Denying Right to Speak

What is freedom?

To only say and not hear.

Choking others for what you cannot bear.

Accepting a challenge so seldom,

Without change a monotonous boredom.

Living within your manly fear,

Like a bird you fly on my approaching near.

Brooding on ideas random,

As if poor me holds an invisible spear,

Setting foot within;your boundaries to tear.

If this be American dream,

I dread swimming in that stream.
