Too transparent an expression

Was it a crime ?

Leave behind an impression,

Of struggling through life.

That cut short their time.

Let’s talk about tales of suppression

Way past prime.

Youth lost fighting against repression

And never could achieve sublime

To breathe one must take permission?

Though covered with grime

At the right angle’s incision

A ruthless heart with guilt entwine
