Still breathing, am I alive then?
Is it a dream,with melancholy I pen
Yet to arrive at a conclusion
A fresco here of chaos and confusion.
My inwards crushed my soul is trampled.
A vision of remorse to view, sorrow quadrupled
Why condemned to such mad slaughter,
Of a brother in religion for world’s laughter
Who drove them in frenzy, that with such speed
Without any personal grudge perform a horrid deed
Followers of most beloved Of Creator on malice feeds
What monstrous elements within us breeds
Are we representatives of a beautiful religion
That preaches peace and tolerance of all in region
This world of ours an abode of blood sucking leeches
Feeding on gore of their own body that screeches
With pain. Biting the very hand extending
For help and then innocent pretending
This is why we will be barred from holy waters sipping
Wondering where this hatred may lead, already existing
Among lowest in ranking in persistence
With stomachs filled with virulence.
O the Maker of entire Universe
Cure my nation from minds perverse
Those intricacies of evil mind
Hard to understand impossible to grind
Let this be decisive battle to find
Tormenter mine,his workings behind
Relieve me and my country from clutches
Of such unfair in dealings,my nations blotches.
What a masterpiece it is, ma'am! So eloquently expressed the entire theme. I was immediately taken aback with the commencement, reflecting that respiration doesn't conjure up the whole definition of life on earth; It requires more than just breathing: an absolute peaceful atmosphere with no hatred, animosity and enviousness.
